Mollugo nudicaulis, commonly known as nakedstem carpetweed or mollugo, is a appealing and resilient plant species belonging to the family Molluginaceae. This inconspicuous herbaceous plant has earned a place in both botanical and ecological studies due to its adaptability and unique characteristics. In this comprehensive overview, the exploration of various aspects of Mollugo nudicaulis, is done including its taxonomy, morphology, habitat, distribution, ecological importance, and potential uses.
Mollugo nudicaulis is classified under the kingdom Plantae, division Angiosperms (flowering plants), class Eudicots, and order Caryophyllales.
